Florida Officer Wrangles 5-Foot Snake From Business Storeroom

A police officer in the Tampa Bay area of Florida wrangled a five-foot snake from a business storeroom early on Monday, May 22.

Footage posted to Facebook by Clearwater Police Department shows Officer Matheny carefully removing the serpent, described as a red tail boa, just after 5 am local time on Monday morning. After the snake was secured, it was taken to a veterinarian for evaluation.
